Story: What are your experiences teaching & learning in the time of coronavirus?

I'm a tenure-track faculty member at a public university. We are very teaching-focused. When COVID-19 hit for us, it hit fast. While we had no cases in the area for some time, the university responded quickly to the crisis. They asked faculty to move classes online for what was at first an indefinite amount of time, which was later changed to the rest of the semester. During this transition, a few faculty revealed they had not used our LMS, Canvas, and now suddenly they had to teach online. Many had never even taught online before. Because I direct our writing to learn courses, I felt I had to respond. I created a public YouTube playlist of videos to help faculty move courses online. The playlist is public and can be found here: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLgH-6erBF58pK8IN2P-KUuNv2zCVjWW6P

Anyone who uses Canvas may find those videos useful. We must all help each other at this time. Just like we support our students, we must also support other teachers.
